The experiment had strict conditions: all work on creation should be carried out manually, in a forge workshop, without using industrial equipment and modern techniques (for example, the same manipulators). A package of steels weighing 50kg was used for the experiment. The author of the project noted that this package could be used to make about 400 standard knives, with blades 9-10 cm long.
This giant blade was forged for three weeks and went through all stages of the production process: forging, welding, grinding, sharpening, polishing the blade and creating the hilt.
