This knife has carbon so it will somewhat easily stain and if you wash it and put it out to dry it will get rust. This is not like a stainless steel kitchen knife that will look pretty. However it is a beast. I beat it up so bad removing some very old grips of golf clubs that you could easily see chunks missing in the blade. I put it on my sharpening stone and performs the paper test easily. You can cut meat, wood, vegetables just whatever. It is my go to knife. I love it.

Gorgeous knife. Excellent steel, sharpens well and holds its edge. Nice and broad. Comfortable finish on the handle. The sheathe is a little tight but it’ll stretch with age. Fantastic quality for the price.

I received my knive today, and I was really impressed by the quality. So far I had no time to test it outdoors, but I have no doubt that this knife will perform excellent. It came very sharp out of the box together with a very well made leathersheed. For my hands (gloves size ‘L’) the handle feels perfect.
It took 20 days from placing my order until delivery to Germany, that was faster than I’ve expected.

First of all I would like to make comment on the excellent customer service provided by BPS, absolutely lovely people to correspond with and the speed of which I received my knife to England was quite unbelievable. My first impressions of the knife and sheath I’m extremely impressed , nice work on the sheath and the design of the knife is really good,absolutely spot on lines of symmetry with the grinds.
The knife arrived sharp but as always when I receive a knife I always give it a good strop this in my experience prevents any chips or rolls in a new edge, it is now scary sharp and ready to start the process of testing it out.
The knife fits comfortably in the hand I did spend literally a couple of seconds to give them a quick sand with 240 paper to smooth out and then applied a bit of danish oil. My blade arrived well oiled and neatly packed, experience with BPS has been nothing but positive, I will be using this knife as my primary tool for at least the next couple of months as to give a fair and honest review of the performance of the blade, something tells me I’m not going to be disappointed.
