Carbon Steel 1066 — Reliable and Durable Blade

The blade is made of high-quality carbon steel 1066, offering a perfect balance between strength and ease of sharpening. With a hardness of 57–59 HRC, it retains its cutting ability over time, even under frequent use. The blade is just 30 mm (1.18 inches) long and 2.9 mm (0.1 inches) thick — keeping the knife ultra-compact yet strong enough to handle a wide range of tasks, from opening packages to fine woodwork.

Skeleton Handle Knife — Minimal Weight, Maximum Comfort

The handle of the Mini Kiridashi CSH follows a skeleton handle knife design, reducing the weight to a mere 20 grams (0.7 oz). This not only makes the knife extremely light but also gives it a sleek, technical look appreciated by fans of quality EDC skeleton tools. A lanyard hole allows you to securely attach this pocket EDC knife to a belt or carabiner for added convenience.

Plastic Sheath — Secure Retention and Quick Access

To ensure safe carry and storage, the knife comes with a plastic sheath featuring a mounting system that allows easy attachment to a belt or backpack. Designed for an active lifestyle, the sheath protects the blade from damage while allowing quick access in any situation. Its compact size aligns with the concept of a small fixed blade knife EDC, making this setup ideal for daily carry.

  1. Grayson

Good solid knife. My job requires precise cuts, prying, and scraping, and the angles and thickness make this the perfect blade. Fits very well in a boot between uses.

  2. Carlos Lemos

I bought this knife for whittling and carving small wood pieces, for which a kiridashi blade is good. The blade is strong and came very sharp. However, the knife feels too short in the hand. Mine is 106 mm long, shorter than the advertised 111 mm, and the handle is 75 mm long, also smaller than advertised. The blade length is 30 mm, which agrees with the text description but not with the figure showing the dimensions. The size and openings of the knife´s body make it somewhat uncomfortable for long works. A kiridashi knife like the BPS Techno Bee (a fantastic skeleton knife) with a leather sheat would have been much better. This knife is not bad, but contrary to all other BPS knives that I bought, I think that the price is too high for what you get.
